With over three decades of experience in electronics and biomedical engineering, Simon Verrechia is the driving force behind SiTech.
His journey began at just six years old, when his grandfather, a junior engineer on the world’s first stored-program electronic digital computer, built at the University of Manchester in 1948,gifted him a kit-built Sinclair ZX80 8-bit microprocessor.
From programming to assembling electronic kits, Simon’s early passion for technology was deeply shaped by his grandfather’s pioneering influence. That foundation, combined with years of dedication to the craft, has made him one of the most trusted repair experts in the Falklands today.
